Five Acres of Heaven: available now!

My new book Five Acres of Heaven: Photographs from Wonder Valley is available from Zenaida Press, in coordination with F2.8 Press, as of today! Here’s the pitch:

Wonder Valley is an unincorporated area lying east of Twentynine Palms, California. After World War II, homesteaders began to build there, taking advantage of the Small Tracts Act of 1938. In Five Acres of Heaven (named after impresario E.B. Moore’s sales pitch), Wonder Valley resident Tim Walters documents the remnants of these settlements and their successors amid the austere beauty of the high desert.

It’s priced to move at $15, and available on line at the F2.8 Press store, and locally to Wonder Valley at Desert General (29 Palms), the 29 Palms Art Gallery, and Acme62 (Yucca Valley).
